11 Random Things

 

1. I teach 6th grade at school and will begin teaching youth at Church in a week or so.

2. I love melted cheese!

3.  Dark Chocolate makes me happy.

4.  PJ pants, sweatshirt, ponytail Saturdays with a good book are my favorite.

5.  I'd love to be crafty, but I'm just average.

6.  I love to laugh, but need to do it more.

7.  I love Autumn Leaves and the change in the air.

8.  If I could pick I'd be a ranchers wife.  Like the Pioneer Woman.

9.  I like going to the movie theater.

10.  I've never been to Disney World.

11.  Nothing better than the smell of maple syrup over hot off the griddle pancakes.

My 11 Questions from Hillary:

1.  What's your favorite book and why?

I really enjoy reading Iris Johansen.  Any of her Eve Duncan series is my pick.  I love reading mystery novels and these keep me guessing.

2.  Give me your all-time favorite quote.

Eleanor Roosevelt "The only person who can make you feel inferior is yourself."

3.  What's your favorite animal and why?

The Loon.  Every time we go to MN to visit in the summer I make sure that I get to hear their melancholy sound. 

4. What do you collect?

I collect snowmen.... sort of.  I'm not an avid collector, I haven't bought a piece for my collection in years.

5.  Who do you most admire and why?

I admire the Savior.  I want to emulate my life after His.  When I do I feel the most joy.

6.  What's your worst vice?

Diet Dr. Pepper, I drink it daily more than once, twice, three times, you get my point! 

7.  What's your best trait?

I'm a doer.  I work on things until they are finished.  I like helping people.

8.  What's your favorite sport?

I like to watch football, especially live.

9.  What's your favorite color and why?

I like Earth tones.  Especially Yellow, Red, Orange and Green.  It depends on the day.  I enjoy the autumn.  The leaves, caramel apples, jeans and sweatshirts, walks in the woods.

10.  Name one of your pet peeves.

Not being in control of my life.  Chaotic moments of life.

11.  What makes any particular day special for you?
I love spending time with my family of four.  I love it when we all get to sit around the dinner table together.  Those days are rare anymore.
